Sailing WORLD magazine has named Lake Beulah's Stephanie Hudson to its 8th annual Junior All-Star Sailing Team. Hudson was chosen by Gary Jobson, ESPN Sailing Commentator and former tactician for Ted Turner in the America's Cup based on her race results and sportsmanship over the past year. The New Trier High School senior was selected from a pool of more than 400 of the nation's top youth sailors between the ages of 13 and 17. One of six sailors selected, Stephanie is the third Midwest sailor to be named Jobson Junior All-Star following the LBYC's Stephanie Roble (2005) and Lake Geneva's Vincent Porter (2001). Anne Haeger was also recognized by Sailing WORLD as a 2008 honorable mention selection.
